Development and Application of a Cell-Based Assay for LRP4 Antibody Associated With Myasthenia Gravis

The study developed a cell-based assay (CBA) to detect autoantibodies against LRP4 associated with MG.  LRP4 antibodies were detected in three patients with double-seronegative MG (those who were negative for AChR and MUSK antibodies. The clinical features of these patients were consistent with previous findings of LRP4 antibody positive MG cases. The developed CBA can be used for the detection of LRP4-Ab in MG patients.
